Bushnell Hybrid Laser GPS Rangefinder Review
What do you get you when you merge a GPS device with a laser golf range finder? The Bushnell Hybrid Laser GPS Rangefinder has the best of both worlds with the point and shoot laser type as well as additional important data from the GPS. Is this going to be the trend for all rangefinders in the future? Who knows? Let’s take a look at this hot new product just introduced earlier in 2011.
A first for Bushnell, the Hybrid Laser GPS Rangefinder is powered by a usb rechargeable battery and the size is comparable to the Tour V2 model. The GPS interface is very simplistic in design so as to not disturb the flow of the game. The GPS displays the yardages of the front, center, and back while the laser can be fired off to accurate points.
An excellent feature is the ability to modify your distances to specific critical areas like dog-legs or sand traps. Even though the Hybrid Rangefinder comes with 16,000 courses you can manually add in a course that has not been installed.

- As mentioned above 16,000 course have been loaded into the Hybrid.
- After firing the laser and getting the distance measured it will be displayed on the LCD on the left side of the Hybrid.
- When not able to see your target the GPS yardage data comes in handy.

Negatives:
- Although the price is somewhat heavy but as with the advancements of technology the price will be lowered.
- Bushnell has decided not to add scorecard stats to this device which might have been a bad call. Pencil and a card still works.
